Amy is a wonderful complement to Doug, as she frequently accompanies him on the piano. They have six lovely children - two boys and four girls.
Doug received Christ as his personal Savior in 1974, at the age of ten. Four years later he began to seriously use his musical abilities for the Lord. It was during his junior year of high school that he dedicated his life to serve the Lord.
Doug met his wife, Amy, during their college years. They married in 1988 and received their degrees in Biblical Education in 1989 from Florida Bible College.

He attended Clayton Junior College where he majored in Music Theater, with an emphasis on vocal performance. He completed his education at Florida Bible College with a Biblical Education major and a minor in Biblical Counseling. While in Florida, he directed and traveled extensively with "New Heart," the college vocal ensemble. He also traveled with and acted as Tour Director for "The Internationals." Along with his solo and family ministry, Doug is also the lead singer for the "Peach State Quartet".
