Please take a moment and read the following announcement:
This is to announce that after being the
lead singer for The Peach State Quartet for two years, Doug Stroup resigned from the group
in 2004 in order to pursue singing with his family. He was doing family concerts in between quartet concerts
during those two years and decided to sing with his family only. His children are doing a
great job at each concert, and people’s lives are being touched and blessed as a
result of seeing the family singing for the Lord together. Doug says his
children have reached the point where they understand that ministry is not for
entertainment, but is directed straight to the hearts of the listeners. The
children have a desire to sing for the Lord and are enjoying singing as a
family. They have continually been asking Doug after each concert, "When are we
singing again, Dad?" Doug says the timing is right and he doesn't want to miss
this golden opportunity.

Doug and his wife, Amy, have
seven children. Their ages are 17,15,12, 10,7,4, and 2. The two oldest are boys and the rest are girls. They
are a home-school family that live on a small farm with goats, and chickens in McDonough, Georgia. |
